POH Launch & First Handover: TLC Girls' High (Manenberg)

On 16 October 2025 we had the honour and privilege of introducing the Pads of Hope Foundation at my Alma Mata, The Leadership College in Manenberg.

In front of approx. 300 young girls, the women of the future, we shared our vision and mission.

Not only have we delivered 336 packs of free sanitary pads and pads dispensers, we have delivered HOPE & CONFIDENCE - something EVERY single woman deserves to embody.

We would like to thank The Leadership College for the exceptional warm welcome extended to us. Your leaders have yet again reminded me the level of excellence you have once taught me - and I myself left inspired today.

May this be the beginning of amazing conversations around menstrual education and women empowerment, as we all strive for our goals and dreams.

May this be a step towards building a generation of young women in Manenberg and the broader Cape Flats, who are so confident and resilient, that they will prove their circumstances does NOT define them.
